Full-Time IT Audit Compliance Specialist

Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with CI polygraph
Zeal Management Group is hiring an IT Audit Compliance Specialist to support a Reston customer. All work is performed on-site. Qualified candidates will have current security credentials.
Position description:
The IT Audit Compliance Specialist will support the team lead to develop, implement, and maintain system policies and procedures.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain system policies and procedures
- Design and implement and maintain IT Controls
- Develop and maintain process narratives and flowcharts.
- Collect, review, and analyze IT control data from information systems.
- Represent system owners in interactions with internal and external audit teams
- Manage responses to multiple audit teams simultaneously
- Respond to audit requests
- Develop and execute remediation plans and report progress on control deficiencies
Education and qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship
- Current TS/SCI Security clearance
- Current CI poly or eligibility to obtain CI poly
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline preferred
- Current CISA or CISM certification (Not required upon acceptance but must obtain within six months)
- 3-5 years of experience supporting FISCAM and or FISMA engagements
- Internal or external audit experience (either performing or responding to audit)
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Strong desire to achieve
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to present information in a clear, concise, and logical fashion
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical colleagues and management
